The Nigerian investment company Heirs Holdings has announced the addition of a new subsidiary, Heirs Technology Limited, to its investment portfolio.

According to Heirs Holdings, the tech subsidiary was created to boost the innovative digital transformation in Africa using uniquely localized solutions.

Currently, the Heirs Holdings’ Portfolio stretches across financial services, real estate, hospitality, power, energy, and technology, with operations in twenty-four countries.

According to the founder, Tony Elumelu, the launch of Heirs Technology is an important milestone towards propelling the progress of future generations of Africans. “Technology is a development accelerator that we will harness to unlock the innovative potential in Africa and improve lives”, said Tony Elumelu.

Heirs Technology will offer IT operations services, and business process outsourcing including, business transformation, IT advisory services, licensing, system integration, and partnership.

To run the helm of affairs at Heirs Technology, Obong Idiong has been appointed as its Chief Executive Officer. Before he was appointed the CEO of Heirs Technology, idiong served as the CEO of Africa Prudential PLC, a registrar service that had undergone a drastic digital transformation under him to become strong and technology-driven today.

Idiong also held managerial roles at the United Bank of Africa Plc, and the group holdings company.
