If you are not up to date on the recent Apple products or probably only heard of the iPhone 15 models and nothing else, you need to know about the Vision Pro.

What does this mean for the world in terms of mixed reality?Regulations?Real-life Virtual Marketing

If we are talking in a non-professional language, the Vision Pro is a virtually augmented reality headset but Apple refers to it as a “Spatial Computer”.

Is it available, yes? If you are in the United States and have $3,500 of spare change lying around, then you can get your hands on one.

But what is a Spatial Computer? Well, that is a question many of us have, as this is a new field for everyday uses of technology.

In simple terms, spatial computers fuse the real world with the virtual world, giving it a seamlessly combined feeling.

For example, let us look at the reviews online and some real-time usages. It enables the user to operate different apps at the same time while having the app look like it is in the physical world.

Some people may mistake it for virtual reality or augmented reality, but if you look closely, it is a combination of both. It is a one-of-a-kind operating system that provides virtual reality but in augmented reality, which enables the users to operate its features using their eyes and hands.

For most virtual reality enthusiasts, this is not a recent innovation as there have been games such as Pokémon Go that utilize AR technology to make a Pokémon appear as if it is in the physical world location through the player’s phone.

The Vision Pro makes use of a three dimensional interface that makes users feel as if the digital content they are viewing is present in their physical world and not restricted to a phone screen.

The other question here is;

What does this mean for the world in terms of mixed reality?

As we all know by now, anytime Apple enters a space, those who were already doing something similar feel like they are doing nothing.

That is not where we are going with this, is it? Soon, there are huge possibilities that will happen in the space with other companies trying to keep up or do better than what we have today.

Regulations?

Most of us are unaware that this means Apple has direct access to a real-time view of the Vision Pro user’s life and surroundings, where privacy should be held in the highest regard. There should be regulatory laws written down about what the company can and cannot do with such data.

Real-life Virtual Marketing

Most of your wild imaginations are now possible with this innovation. Let us say you are walking down the road wearing the top quality headset and you see someone wearing a nice bag or enjoying a drink.

There will be a 95% chance that what you are seeing isn’t a real person but a virtual ad. Then moving on to other possibilities, like actually being part of a movie that you are supposed to be just watching and on and on. We can only rely on time to determine what the future holds but be prepared.
