After several delays and much anticipation, Samsung is reportedly set to launch its first Android 15 beta tomorrow, December 5.
This marks a big step forward for the company, which has been working on One UI 7, its customized version of Android 15, for months.
Initially, Samsung was expected to release the beta earlier this year. However, repeated delays pushed the timeline back, raising questions about whether the company would meet its promise to roll out the update before year-end. Now, with time running out, it appears Samsung is finally ready to deliver.
Reliable insider Max Jambor has revealed that the Galaxy S24 series will be the first to receive the One UI 7 beta.
The program is expected to expand to other devices in the coming weeks, offering a sneak peek of Samsung’s Android 15 upgrade.
Usually, the beta has been accessible through the Samsung Members app and limited to specific regions at first.

This time, Germany is said to be among the initial countries supported, suggesting a broader rollout than in previous years.
Before now, the US and South Korea are the first to gain access, followed by Europe and other regions.
One UI 7 is shaping up to be one of Samsung’s most significant updates in years. It builds on Android 15 with major visual changes, updates to animations, and overhauls to apps and system designs.
Some of these updates, including a redesigned approach to notifications and Quick Settings, have sparked debate, with critics pointing out similarities to iOS.
Despite the controversy, the update promises a fresh experience with notable behind-the-scenes enhancements and visible improvements.
For Samsung users eagerly awaiting this upgrade, tomorrow may finally bring the long-awaited chance to test the future of One UI.
