But this update isn’t just for the flagships. Samsung will gradually extend the One UI 7 update to older devices, foldable, mid-range models, and tablets. All eligible devices will get an optimized and refreshed experience tailored to the model.

🚀 What’s New in One UI 7?

Samsung’s One UI 7 introduces a suite of AI-driven features designed to enhance user experience and productivity. Here are some standout features that will come with One UI 7:

  • AI Select: This feature suggests context-based actions by analyzing on-screen content. For instance, while watching a video, you can activate AI Select via the Edge Panel to create a GIF from the current scene.
  • Writing Assist: Integrated across the system, Writing Assist helps users draft, summarize, or format text. With writing assistance, users can access options to rephrase the content, ensuring clarity and coherence in communications.
  • Improved Privacy and Security: Enhanced protection features, including better app permission controls, improved biometric security options, and end-to-end encryption upgrades.
  • Drawing Assist: This tool transforms simple sketches or text prompts into detailed images, facilitating quick visual content creation. It’s particularly useful for designers and content creators seeking to generate visuals on the go.
  • Audio Eraser: An enhancement to the camera app, Audio Eraser allows users to isolate and remove specific sounds from video recordings. This ensures clearer audio playback by eliminating unwanted background noise.
  • Now Bar: Positioned at the bottom of the lock screen, the Now Bar provides real-time updates and notifications for select apps, offering quick access to essential information without unlocking the device.
  • Visual Overhaul: A fresher, cleaner interface with smoother animations, enhanced widget support, and customizable themes for a more personalized experience.
  • Better Performance: Optimized battery life, smoother multitasking, and enhanced device management tools.
  • New Accessibility Features: Improved text readability, voice control enhancements, and gesture-based shortcuts to assist users with disabilities.
  • Google Gemini Integration: By long-pressing the side button, users can activate Google’s Gemini AI assistant, enabling seamless access to information and personalized recommendations.

These AI-powered features collectively contribute to a more personalized, efficient, and intuitive user experience in One UI 7.
