The Nigerian federal government, through the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has announced an open opportunity for young Nigerians to participate in a training program in the United States.

Applicants stand a chance to secure $220,000 in funding, along with an all-expenses-covered training experience in Silicon Valley, USA. Titilope Gbadamosi, Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on youth initiatives, shared this on X (Twitter).

The agency is specifically inviting tech startups with the potential to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions to seize this opportunity and make the most of it. The application deadline is March 23, 2024.

Interested individuals are encouraged to apply through nsia-ip.com. You will have to provide the NITDA with your personal information, company information, team information, product information, and investment—which entail details of any investments/external funding (grants, donations, etc.) that you have taken and if you are currently fundraising.

After providing the necessary information and documents, proceed and review your application, and then submit it. This opportunity will provide aspiring Nigerian entrepreneurs with funds, support, and a platform to showcase their innovation and ideas on a global level.
