Google I/O, the annual developer conference, kicks off this Tuesday with a highly anticipated keynote address at 10:00 AM PT and West Africa Standard Time on Tue, 14 May 2024, at 6:00 pm.

As always, this presentation will be our first look at the exciting new features coming to Google’s core software platforms, including Android, Wear OS, and Android TV.

But this year, there’s a clear theme in the air: Artificial Intelligence! Google is expected to go all-in on AI, showcasing the latest advancements from its powerful language model, Gemini. With competition heating up from companies like Microsoft and OpenAI, Google aims to solidify its position as a leader in this area.

Later that afternoon, at 1:30 PM PT, the Developer Keynote takes center stage. As the name suggests, this presentation dives deeper into the technical side of things, focusing on tools and resources for developers.

If you’re a coder or app builder, this is the one you won’t want to miss. But the good news is, you don’t even need to leave the stream! Just stick around after the main keynote for a seamless transition.
