How to stream the Apple WWDC24 Live event — Coming in Swiftly

Even though there's been some pressure on Apple after mixed reviews for their first mixed reality product and the cancellation of their electric car project, it seems like hardware might take a backseat this time.

Apple’s big Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC24) is starting soon, with the opening keynote set for June 10 at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT.

At this event, Apple usually talks about its software and the people who make apps for its devices, like iPhones, iPads, Mac computers, Apple TVs, and Apple Watches.

You can watch the event live on Apple’s official website. It will also be streamed on YouTube if you prefer this option.

It’s no secret that Apple isn’t leading in artificial intelligence research like Google (Gemini), Microsoft, and OpenAI (ChatGPT). However, Apple wants to fix this, and the WWDC stage is a good place to do it.

Apple might partner with OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, to catch up in AI. And people are excited about possible AI improvements in iOS 18.

Usually, WWDC focuses on software, not new gadgets. But in the past few years, Apple has surprised us with new hardware, like the Apple Silicon chips and the Vision Pro headset.

But this year, rumors suggest there won’t be any new gadgets. Instead, it would be more of a software event powered by AI. Even though there’s been some pressure on Apple after mixed reviews for their first mixed reality product and the cancellation of their electric car project, it seems like hardware might take a backseat this time.
