Egoras Technology, a leading Nigerian energy company, has announced its groundbreaking charging solution, Egostation, an innovative electric vehicle (EV) charging station powered by blockchain technology.

Scheduled for launch on June 8, 2024, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Egostation promises to revolutionize sustainable transportation across Nigeria.

Featuring state-of-the-art Level 3 DC fast charging technology, Egostation boasts rapid charging capabilities, capable of replenishing up to 80% of an electric vehicle’s battery within a mere 20 minutes.

This breakthrough solution addresses the dynamic needs of modern EV owners, ensuring efficient and convenient charging experiences.

The company states that the Level 3 charging stations, like Egostation, are equipped with DC fast chargers, which significantly outpace traditional Level 2 AC chargers in terms of charging speed.

This efficiency is due to DC chargers bypassing the car’s onboard AC/DC converter, delivering direct current to the battery for a more efficient and rapid charging process.

As Egoras continues to lead the charge in sustainable transportation solutions, the company extends an invitation to potential partners to collaborate in establishing charging stations nationwide.

Ugoji Harry, CEO of Egoras, expressed excitement for Egostation’s transformative impact on EV charging technology, emphasizing the important role of blockchain integration through Egochain in driving widespread EV adoption across Nigeria.

He emphasized that their electric vehicles and charging station terminals would seamlessly integrate into the Egochain, ensuring enhanced security, transparency, and efficiency.

In addition to the Egostation ongoing project, Egoras the company announced plans to launch its domestically manufactured electric vehicle, APEX 28, in the coming month, April.

Manufactured at Egoras’ facility in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, APEX 28 represents a significant leap forward in promoting clean energy within the transport sector, a pure demonstration of its dedication to transitioning Africans from fossil fuels to sustainable energy solutions.

Regarding potential partnerships, Harry encouraged interested parties to seize the opportunity to establish charging stations nationwide, contributing to the expansion of Nigeria’s EV infrastructure. He explained that Egoras would leverage its cutting-edge Egochain technology to incentivize station ownership and foster the expansion of the Egostation network.

Through Egostations, station owners earn rewards through $EGAX block tokens as more vehicles utilize the charging facilities, creating a mutually beneficial system that encourages network growth and rewards contributions to its success.

By incentivizing station ownership and rewarding participation, we are driving the widespread adoption of EVs while simultaneously advancing Nigeria’s EV infrastructure.
